I was reading a book on the couch the other night. After a while, sleepiness kicked in, so I got up and went to bed, forgetting completely about the book *gasp*
This was the sight which greeted me the following morning:
You just can’t afford one single careless moment when there are bunnies running free around the house! I’m usually extremely careful about not leaving things lying around.. but I guess I was just too tired that night. The book was a rental.. so there goes my deposit..
And how do the accused plead?
*I don’t know nothing. Do I not look guilt-free to you?*

*I was.. umm.. sleeping at that time.. like this, see? I didn’t see nothing*
Well.. I can’t even begin to get mad at the buns when they look so darn cute. Their antics just make me laugh, destruction included

Judging for the crime scene I’d guess both the suspects were involved and had a lot of fun.
Maybe it wasn’t the bunnies! Maybe someone broke in and ripped your book up, did you think of that? The bunnies look far too innocent to have done such a terrible thing!
Haha, we just made a post about our House Rabbit Handbook getting chewed up. I think your bunnies win though! And no one ever wants the blame, even if they have paper stuck in their teeth!
You’re lucky! If Sammy’s favorite bit of naughtiness is peeing where he shouldn’t – and sometimes he has the gall to do it right in front of me! He loves to test us!
Oh no, it wasn’t a library book by any chance, was it?
Oh there has been a lot of that lately. Our Benson (RIP) once ate part of a page from Disapproving Rabbits!
lol wow they really did a number on that book!! i cant tell you how many times my phone charger cords have been bit in half by miss coco bunny!
It wasn’t a library book, but I rented it from a ‘books-for-rent’ shop.. I’ll lose my deposit for the book, lol!
Oh yes, there’s been a lot of destruction since the bunnies came into my life. Wires bitten in half, buttons on remotes chewed off, clothing with holes in them.. the list goes on
