None of my bunnies have long fur, so I'm not sure how it would work on a lionhead's coat, but I have a friend who told me it works fine on her rabbit's coat (it's a rather woolly rabbit). On the other hand, another friend said that the 'teeth' were not long enough to penetrate her rabbit's thick fur.. she was also using the same sized Furminator as mine. Is there a money-back guarantee for the Furminator where you're located? If so, maybe you can purchase it & see if it works on your lionhead.
