Lunch with Audrey

Audrey has settled in nicely at our place. She has adjusted to local time, is getting on famously with everyone & everybun here.. and she was ready for her very first Audrey Adventure! All in good time, because my parents were here for a visit over the weekend and Audrey got to join us on our outings

On Sunday, we wanted to go somewhere nice for lunch – good food, pleasant ambience – we settled on an a la carte buffet at Rakuzen, a Japanese restaurant.

Audrey was excited to sample new food. She grabbed the best seat available, right smack in the middle of the table where soon, she’ll be surrounded by sumptuous food:

Audrey took control of food-ordering, selecting almost everything in the menu:

It was cold in the restaurant. Audrey cosied up next to a steaming hot cup of green tea:

Audrey was all ready to eat, but still no sight of food..

A frown was beginning to form on Audrey’s face, when everything was served all at once!

(Sorry for the dark pictures.. we were busy with the food and forgot about checking the photos to see if they had turned out OK, lol!)

Audrey sampled every dish. She even decided to give the shishamo (grilled smelt) a try:

She wasn’t too keen on it though.. fish is cat food, she says, and bunnies don’t eat cat food:

So, we ordered some greens for Audrey (Edamame soybeans, a personal favourite of mine!):

And some green tea ice cream:

We were stuffed!! It was a good lunch, everyone ate like a king and Audrey could hardly lift herself up after that:

I think we should let Audrey rest for a bit before taking her on her next adventure..
