As of last weekend, the critter headcount here jumped from 4 to 9!
Yes, we have newcomers.. No, I didn’t go on a critter-shopping frenzy
My dear friend, D, is having her first baby very soon and I’m watching her furry ones for a month or so while D adjusts to the fur-less addition.
These are D’s bunnies, Tridus (left) & Tinga (right):

I babysat Tridus ages ago when he was a single bun and here he is now with a wife of his very own! They’re such a loving couple, snuggling next to each other all the time.
And then there are the chinchillas..
This beautiful pair is Yuffie and her daughter, Echo:

I can’t tell them apart, they look so alike!

Mommy, I missch yoo!!
This handsome guy is Whiskey, Echo’s dad:

Sherry has never seen chins before and couldn’t stop barking at them, so in to the bunny room went the chins.
Buttons & Yohji, meanwhile, have been busy welcoming the chins with generous puddles of pee and piles of poo! Where are your manners, bunnies??

Oh, such sweet little chinchillas! They are just adorable. More furry fun in your house ~ enjoy!
Ohhhh how cute your guests are!!!! The lady chins DO look so alike!
Of course the buns are disgruntled, they don’t know what a chinchilla is either!!!
How sweet! My daughter just lost her little white Chinny. But looking at these two makes me happy.
Wow! Good luck – that is close to a handful!
(Want an extra cat?)
Cute chinnies!
what! no sharing of the greens and apples? no wonder the buns are not on their best behaviour
territorial disputes cross all species I see
That kisses photo is too cute and funny at the same time!

you want me to babysit yohji for you? hehee

i still prefer yohji…
wow!! you are almost ready to open a zoo!! Have fun with all the critters!!
They are look precious. Those chins are sweeties with the softest fur.
That should read “they are precious”
Awwwww! You’re so lucky – and so busy! I’m sure they’re enjoying their new “spa” life at Chez Furrbutts!
Nice post
Aawww chinchillasss!!!
At a glance, I thought you have added chinchillas to your collection of furrybutts :p
Your house seems like a lot of fun – bunnies, chinnies, & a dog!
Yes, chinchillas are prey animals. Being in a new environment would be enough stress for them that they don’t need Sherry barking at them. Maybe one of these days you’ll get to hear a chinchilla bark back at Sherry (yes they bark).
Isn’t it so nice to watch our pet grow until they have their very own family? I also feel happy to see my Push having a baby. Her family is growing fast and I believe it is about time to renovate their rabbit hatch to accommodate the upcoming cuties. I am so excited for my Push and I know she is too.
