Today, we attended an event at Kuala Lumpur (KL) Tower, hosted by SPCA in conjunction with the World Animal Day.
There were some dogs and cats for adoption (no bunnies – which is a good thing, I suppose!), and stalls selling animal-related products.
Lots of people brought their pets along, mostly dogs.
The little dogs, all dressed up:
The big dogs!
Can’t figure out how these guys fit in with World Animal Day:
And, the best part of the event was this exhibition of animal photos. Spot any familiar faces?
There they are! Yohji:
and Hans! :
I was informed that SPCA was looking for pet/animal photos to display at the event, and I submitted photos of all 3 bunnies. Unfortunately, Buttons’ photos didn’t make the cut 😦 Poor Buttons. She’s getting an extra treat tonight to make up for this!
Believe it or not, I’ve lived in KL for 9 years but today is the first time I’ve stepped into KL Tower! So, to make the most of our visit there, we got tickets to enter the Observation Platform.
The KL Tower is 421 meters high. The elevator ride up to the Observation Platform took 58 seconds.

Alright, I’m off now to give the buns extra kisses in celebration of World Animal Day 😉 They won’t be pleased..
