Happy 2009 to all!!
We had a low key celebration this year. The roads were already badly jammed when I left work.. so we decided to stay home to avoid the massive crowd outside.
Our apartment overlooks the KL Tower and Petronas Twin Towers. There’s always a grand fireworks display near those buildings each New Year’s Eve, and we watched it this year from the comfort of home. Here are a few blurry pictures – didn’t have a tripod with me
Buttons and Yohji celebrated with a kiss:
Hans isn’t bonded to anybun yet, so he didn’t get any bunny kisses. I offered to kiss him, but he was more interested in his tunnel:
There’s still a sombre mood over at our place..
.. our dear friend Hugo has left for the Rainbow Bridge. Hugo was a handsome, white rabbit.. the king of G, D, and Miss Eve’s world. He will be terribly missed by all.
So, let’s start off the new year with a toast to all the beautiful pets who once graced our lives with their presence – may they live on forever in our hearts; and to all the wonderful pets who are still with us today – may they lead long, happy & healthy lives!
There is much ado over at my parents’ place. Another baby has been welcomed into the family, a baby of the furry kind. Meet little Nikki, a 10 week old female dachshund:
She’s going to be so spoilt. She has just come home, and already everyone is in a frenzy looking for beds, blankets, toys, etc. to shower her with 😀 I’ll be going back to my parents’ place at the end of this month, and will definitely return with lots more pictures of the little princess. Can’t wait to meet her!
