We’re back! How has everyone been? Good, I hope!
It was nice to be back in Penang, although the weather on that island was much too hot for my liking. We lived the life of bunnies throughout our little holiday – daily activities consisted mostly of eating and sleeping!
The bunnies did good in the car. Yohji prayed for a swift and safe journey:
Buttons seems to lose ear control when traveling..
.. or maybe those strategically held ears help her maintain balance in a moving vehicle
Hans spent most of the journey peeking out from his carrier. He reminds me of a little puppy at times:
When we first arrived in Penang, Buttons spent the first 2 days hiding in her cardboard box and only came out when she had to eat, drink or use her litter box. Yohji, on the other hand, quickly adjusted to the new environment.
Once Buttons settled in, she was back to her mischevious old self. Together, she and Yohji caused so much havoc tearing up cardboards during the nights that my brother (who shared his room with them) lost a lot of sleep, lol!
They look like such angels during the day, though.. so quiet and peaceful:
As the sun sets, the buns meet to cook up new schemes to deprive my brother of sleep:
Buttons & Yohji lose their litter habits when they’re in a new place. We laid cardboard on the ground to keep the flooring safe from potent bunny liquids 😀 but they’re much better this year, there were lesser pee puddles outside of the litter box compared to last year.
Hans stayed in my parents’ room. This little guy has impeccable litter habits! Not once did he have any ‘accidents’ outside of his litter box.
Buttons, Yohji and Hans weren’t the only furry ones at my parents’ place! The hammies came along to celebrate CNY too:
And then, there’s the resident princess, Nikki!
More on them later. There’s some unpacking and cleaning up to do for now.. it’s amazing how much dust has collected at home during our absence!
Before I go, I’d like to thank the Crafty Green Poet for passing on this cute Hugs Award to Buttons, Yohji and Hans! They are so very honoured!
