How time flies when one is having fun!
I’m back in KL again.. physically, at least. The heart and soul are still somewhere on the beautiful island of Redang It was a great trip – we’d get up early for breakfast, then go for a dive, return to shore for a short break, go for another dive, come back in for lunch, go diving again, have dinner, go for a night dive – everyone just ate and dived to their hearts’ content!
Here are some of the photos I took during the trip. It’s too bad I couldn’t bring my camera underwater. We saw turtles, black-tip sharks, a huge ray and a whole host of other stunning marine life!
At the end of each day, we’d lounge around the dining area having drinks (non-alcoholic, so that we’ll still be able to dive the next morning 😀 ), chatting, laughing and filling up our dive log books.
One of our friends does the fire poi. It was the first time I’ve seen a real life fire poi performance and it was very captivating watching her, to say the least!
Nights have always been my favourite part of the day, but nothing beats relaxing at night to the sound of waves from the ocean. That is my definition of bliss.. and so, it was with great reluctance that we all packed up our bags and left Redang for the hustle and bustle of city life in KL. I wish I could have stayed longer but that’s not an option, I have to return to the buns!
They weren’t happy to see me home. Maybe they didn’t like the smell of the sea on me.. The boys ran off into their box, prefering each other’s company:
Buttons ignored me, too:
Only Yohji was up for some nose rubs:
Looks like I have lots of making up to do in the days to come! I’d better go buy some ‘nannas tonight..
